Welcome – A Space to Understand, Heal, and Grow.
“Life is full of transitions, challenges, and patterns that can feel overwhelming—whether in our families, our work, or within ourselves. If you’re seeking support to break cycles, strengthen relationships, and find balance, you’ve come to the right place.”
Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
Hello, World!
Hello, World!
Therapy for the ones who hold everything together.
If you’re the strong one everywhere else, this is where you get to exhale. Support for BIPOC communities, families navigating intergenerational patterns, professional women running on empty, moms carrying the mental load, and adult children trying to keep the whole system afloat.
Choose your path
Click what fits best right now. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.
High-achieving, high-functioning… and tired.
We work on boundaries, nervous system support, overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the “I’ll rest after I handle everything” cycle.
What we target
Burnout, anxiety, self-trust, and guilt-free rest.
What changes
Clear boundaries + fewer spirals + sustainable energy.
What it feels like
Supported, direct, and real — not “performative healing.”
The mental load is heavy. You don’t have to carry it alone.
We work on resentment, identity, regulation, communication, and shifting “default parent” dynamics — without mom-shaming or perfection pressure.
What we target
Mental load, guilt, overwhelm, emotional depletion.
What changes
Better support systems + boundaries + steadier mood.
What it feels like
Like someone is finally taking you seriously.
Breaking cycles without betraying your culture.
We explore family roles, conflict avoidance, loyalty binds, communication patterns, and intergenerational survival strategies — with cultural respect.
What we target
Family dynamics, boundaries, healing patterns.
What changes
New communication + less conflict + more clarity.
What it feels like
Safe, grounded, and culturally aware.
Transitions, identity, pressure — and being “the strong one.”
Support for teens/young adults navigating confidence, emotional regulation, and life transitions — and adult children managing caregiver stress and family pressure.
What we target
Stress, self-worth, communication, transitions.
What changes
Confidence, coping skills, and healthier boundaries.
What it feels like
Support that’s real — not preachy.
Support that fits real life
Not cookie-cutter care. Not “just breathe” advice. Therapy that meets you where you are.
Professional women
Burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the pressure to always be “fine.”
Moms + caregivers
Mental load, resentment, guilt, and learning to be supported without apologizing for needing help.
Families + intergenerational healing
Family roles, “we don’t talk about it,” conflict cycles, and breaking patterns with cultural respect.
Quick self-check (1 minute)
This is not a diagnosis — just a quick way to notice what may be showing up lately.
How have you been doing… really?
Check what’s been true more days than not.

I’m Dewanna, and I became a therapist because I deeply believe in the power of understanding, connection, and growth. Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings—including child placement agencies, community-based mental health organizations, and the criminal justice system—which has given me a broad perspective and the experience to support individuals across the lifespan.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating life stressors, trauma, transitions, and challenges that can feel overwhelming. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning I meet clients where they are, honor their unique stories, and adapt therapeutic strategies to fit their needs and goals.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Person-Centered Therapy, blending evidence-based practices with a compassionate, individualized approach. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, discover their strengths, and build the tools to move forward with confidence and clarity.
Helping people break patterns, strengthen relationships, and find balance in their lives is what drew me to this work—and what continues to inspire me every day.”
“Your Growth, Your Way”
“You already have the strengths you need. Together, we uncover them, navigate life’s challenges, and break patterns that no longer serve you—building relationships, resilience, and balance along the way.”
